Gibson fans rejoice....possibly. It's been a couple of years since Michael Schenker signed on to Dean guitars and left behind / sold his Gibson flying v's. Though never a signature artist with the Gibson brand, the guitar maestro was associated with the Gibson V and it's unique yin-yang type paint scheme. His Deans maintained a very similar look but held obvious differences, such as the headstock shape. It's now 2010 and 30 years after MSG took off and the wonder-kid blasted through classics such as 'Cry for the Nations' & 'Into the Arena' with his V, Dean have now in turn created a V reminiscent of this Gibson like guitar, with the traditional Dean headstock. Some hardware changes do apply however, gone is the Seymour Duncan combination (Sh-5 Bridge & Sh-1 Neck pickups) and the V is now equipped with Dean Michael Schenker 'Lights Out' pickups.
