MYSTERY FLYING V

Bought a flying v around 6 months ago, but the previous owner was uncertain of it's brand. From the research I have been able to do, I can identify it to possibly be an IBANEZ 2387 V. But there are some features that distinguish this V when compared to what I've read and seen online.

The neck is quite rounded and gibson-esque but very comfortable,
The headstock is slightly pointier
The body (legs) are slightly smaller, making the tailpiece come nearer to the edge of the body
The neck pickups is an IBANEZ SUPER 70/80
The neck is set neck
The bridge is a roller type.
Bottom left edge of pickguard is not cut off as a 'v' point

ANY IDEAS OF THE GUITAR'S BRAND?

  2. Thanks for the comment! Though I'm still uncertain of the guitar's brand, would be cool if it was a Gibson though.

  3. If you compare the photos, the only difference I can spot at first sight is the selector being swapped with one of the knobs... The missing headstock plate might be accidental...

Just accept you have an original and shut up! XD

  5. Woah! I'm really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's difficult to get that "perfect balance" between user friendliness and appearance. I must say you have done a superb job with this. In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome. Outstanding Blog!
